Introducing our new Romance FC jersey in collaboration with the Human Race FC collection by Pharrell x Adidas Football - a celebration of the power of unity.
Pharrell has looked at the history of major clubs – Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Man U and Real Madrid – and reworded iconic shirts in a hand-painted aesthetic. We’re proud to represent grassroots in Human Race collection, with the addition of our new Romance FC bespoke jersey. Who says you can’t play with the big guys even though your league is local and intermediate?
We think the new kit is fire, and it’s the outcome of a fun collaborative process with the good folks at Adidas Football. The jersey is made with Primegreen, a high performance recycled material using no virgin polyester. Design Director Inigo Turner says
“We drew inspiration from one of the most loved adidas shirts of all time, worn famously by Holland in ’88 and Germany in 1990 on their away shirt. We took the design into a new territory by creating it in this looser and fluid way, then created it in a unique colour for Romance FC, playing with dark colours predominantly and accents in floor to give it a sporty and performance feel that is equally at home on the street”
